DQ-TimeCoder is a VCR-control plug-in providing frame accurate machine
control and time code stamping from within Macintosh or Windows versions
of Adobe Premiere.
DQ-TimeCoder is the ideal enhancement to every video production studio
or creative facility merging traditional video technology and desktop
video production tools. DQ-TimeCoder extends Premiere's reach into the
post-production market with the essential time code link and frame accuracy
necessary to ensure professional results.
DQ-TimeCoder adds enormous functionality to Premiere, providing time
code capability, as well as frame accurate machine control, of the video
source directly from within the editor. DQ-TimeCoder enables frame accurate,
time coded movie clips for generating frame accurate edit decision lists
(EDLs).
DQ-TimeCoder also makes it possible to log video clips and capture individual
clips or lists of video clips automatically from within Premiere and
MediaStudio Pro. It provides frame-accurate control of Premiere's waveform
monitor and vectorscope tools for setting video levels for specific
time code sequences. These functions require both time code and machine
control and are not available without DQ-TimeCoder.
DQ-TimeCoder supports RS-422 9-pin serial decks with time code board.
